Errors & backlog

Changed (1 Oct 2026). Handed-in work is approved or returned by the artist on the website in Studio → Team. On the admin site this page keeps only Errors and Backlog — what failed on the platform and what still waits.

What it is. Everything a member handed in waits here as a pending version. Nothing a member does is ever public by itself — the published words of a song change only when you approve.

1 · Pending

One card per handed-in version: the song, the member, when, how many lines. Open shows the lines with their times in the editor. Then:

• APPROVE — this version becomes THE published words; the old published version is kept as history; the task is stamped approved (and counts for payment — see Team & workers).
• RETURN with a reason — the version is rejected, the task goes back to the member as RETURNED with your reason.

2 · Errors

Songs whose timing does not pass the automatic check (lines out of order, times beyond the song…) — fix in the editor.

3 · Backlog

Songs that still have no published words, with whether they are already given to someone. Give them on the ASSIGNMENTS page.

File health (new 1 Oct 2026)

Every night at 02:53 UTC the server checks every file it serves — the MP3 and AAC listeners hear, the waveform, the three cover sizes and the banner: is it there, the right size, the same fingerprint it was made with, and does the sound still play to its end. A damaged file is repaired by itself: first the exact copy from the NAS backup (once the server is given the way to it), otherwise made again from its sister file (AAC from the MP3, MP3 from the AAC, waveform from the sound, small covers from the big one). What cannot be repaired comes to every admin by e-mail and stays here as NEEDS YOU. CHECK + REPAIR NOW runs the same check at once. Nothing is ever deleted.
