Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Farooq Music (farooqmusic.com, its apps and its stream address) is owned and run by FAROOQ MUGHAL (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, registered in Pakistan with the SECP (CUIN 0357349), registered office: Holiday Villa, Murad Colony, Behind Commerce College, Street 2, Pakistan ("we"). By using Farooq Music you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Questions: contact@farooqmusic.com.

Listening

Listening is free. You may play, share links and embed the player as the site offers. You may not copy, download, record or re-upload a song unless its artist allows it on the song's page.

Your account

Give true details, keep your password to yourself and tell us if someone else used your account. You must be at least 13. One person may have one personal account; an artist page belongs to the account that made it. You can close your account at any time (Settings → Your data).

Uploading your music

  • Upload only what you have the right to share: you made it, or every owner (words, music, voice, picture) allowed you.
  • Music made with AI is welcome. Mark it honestly (the AI switch and ticks) and follow the terms of the AI tool you used — some tools give you no commercial rights on their free plans.
  • You keep the ownership of everything you upload. You give Farooq Music a free, worldwide, non-exclusive permission to store, copy into listening formats (MP3, AAC), stream, show the words and the story, make share cards and previews, and show your songs in lists, charts and search — only to run and present the service. This permission ends when you delete the song or close your account (copies in safety backups disappear within 14 days; numbers already counted stay as numbers).
  • You are responsible for what you upload and write.

Not allowed

Songs, pictures, words or comments that are not yours to share; hate, threats, harassment or abuse; sexual content involving minors (always reported to the authorities); spam, fake plays or fake accounts; trying to break, overload or get around the security of the service; selling or misusing other people's data.

Reports and removal

Anyone can Report a song. The team looks at every report and may hide or remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the law. If you think we made a mistake, write to us.

Copyright claims and takedowns

Anything stolen, or that belongs to another person or company without their permission, may be taken down from our servers, the website and the apps. Whoever owns the rights can file a copyright claim on the song (⋯ → This song is mine); both sides are told by e-mail, both write their statements on a public case page (private proof stays private), the uploader has 14 days to answer, Farooq Music decides by day 30, and either side may appeal once within 14 days. During a case the song stays up marked Rights under review, unless the team hides it because the proof is strong. Three upheld claims can close an account. The full rules: Copyright — claims and takedowns.

Membership

Today every plan is free. Paid plans may come later; their price will be shown on the Membership page before anything is charged, and nothing is ever charged without your own choice. Payments will be taken through PayPal — we never see or keep your card details.

The service

We work hard to keep Farooq Music running and safe, but it is offered as it is, without a promise that it will never stop or never have a fault. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost data or lost earnings. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.

Changes

We may change these terms. The new text appears here with its date; big changes are announced on the website. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
