My songs — hide, delete and bring back, download, and who may work on a song

Where. Studio → My songs (the first tab). Every song of your artist page is a row: cover, title, length, language, plays, likes, saves and its state.

Find what still needs work — the chips

Above the table: All · Public · Private · No words · Waiting, and since package 055 No banner · No story · No credits · 🟡 Warnings. One press shows only the songs that still miss that part, so you can finish them one by one. 🟡 on a row lists the upload checks that found something (hold the mouse on it).

Hide and show — one press

The 👁 button on a row hides the song (it becomes private: only you, your team and people with its private link — see Private songs and followers-only songs). The 🙈 button shows it again (public). The song keeps its page, counts, words and comments.

The ⋯ menu of a song

  • ⇩ Download — the song's MP3.
  • ⇩ Download the original (master) — the file that came in (your WAV or MP3), when it is still on the website. If it is kept in the archive the menu says so; the admin can send it to you.
  • 👥 Who may work on this song — see below.
  • 🗂 Files & versions — every file of the song (the master, the MP3 and AAC listeners hear, the waveform, the cover sizes and the banner) with its size and state, and every saved version of the words. Publish this version brings an earlier version back for listeners; nothing is deleted, the newer one stays in the list.
  • 🗑 Delete song — asks first.

Delete — and 30 days to bring it back

A deleted song leaves every list at once. Under the table, Recently deleted shows it with the days left (30). Press ↺ Restore and it comes back with everything it had. After 30 days only the admin can bring it back (Updates & files).

Who may work on this song (rights per song)

Your team (Studio → Team) can already work on all your songs if their role allows it (a leader, or a member). A worker — or anyone you want to limit — can be given rights on ONE song:

  1. ⋯ on the song → 👥 Who may work on this song.
  2. Every member of your team is a line. Tick what they may do on this song: Words (lyrics, story, credits, timing), Artwork (cover, banner), Details (title and the song's settings), Sound (replace and download the sound).
  3. Press Save on that line. The member gets a notice.
  4. To take the rights back, untick everything and Save.

Members with All songs (by role) need nothing here.

Give a task to another member (Studio → Team)

In Studio → Team, every open task has ⇄ Give to another. Pick the member, write the reason (required) and, if you like, a new due date. The task is taken back from the first member (they are told, with the reason) and given to the other (they are told too). The first task stays in the list as reassigned.

For the member

The songs given to you are under Songs shared with me — in Studio → My songs (or on My tasks if you have no artist page). Press ✎ Work on it: you see only the parts you were given (for Words: the words, the story, the credits and the Sync Studio; for Artwork: the two picture buttons; for Sound: replace and download).
