Listening (the website)

Followers, following, comments and your history

What it is. Since 3 October 2026 every page on Farooq Music has its circle: an artist page and a listener's page both show Followers and Following, and both can be followed. Your Library keeps every comment in one place, and your History shows everything you did — what you listened to, what you liked and what you commented on.

Step 1 — Follow a page

Open an artist page or a person's page and press the follow button (a person with a +). Once you follow, the button turns gold and the + becomes a ✓ — so you always see that you follow. Press it again to stop following. A person who has an artist page is followed on that artist page.

Step 2 — See the followers and the following

On any page, press the number Followers or Following. A window opens with the list: each person or artist page with picture and name; press a name to open the page. When you are signed in, each row has Follow / ✓ Following — follow someone back, or stop following, right from the list. An artist page also tells how many followers came from the SoundCloud years (they are counted, not listed).

Your own circle is also in the Library: Following (artist pages and people you follow) and Followers (who follows you), each with Follow / ✓ Following.

Step 3 — Share a person's page

On a person's page press ↗ Share: WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, e-mail, copy link — and on a phone, the phone's own share list.

Step 4 — Every comment in one place

Library → Comments. An artist sees On my songs (every comment listeners wrote on the artist's songs, the ones not answered yet marked — answer them in Studio → Comments) and everyone sees Written by me (each with its song; press the song to open its comments).

Step 5 — Your history

Library → History. Newest first, by day: ▶ Listened, ♥ Liked, 💬 Commented (with what you wrote). The chips on top show one kind only. Clear history removes the listening part (your likes and comments stay). Songs you play in the Farooq Music app count too.
