My devices — where my account is signed in

What it is. Every phone, tablet or computer where you signed in to Farooq Music (the website or the app) is one device. You see them all, and you decide which ones stay signed in.

Step 1 — Open the list

• Website: your picture at the top → Settings (Account page) → My devices.
• App: Me → Settings & security → Signed-in devices.

Each row shows the device's name (for example Farooq Music app · Android or Chrome · Windows), when it signed in and when it was last used. The device you are holding says This device.

Step 2 — Sign out a device

Press Sign out next to any device you do not use or do not know. It is signed out at once — the next time someone opens Farooq Music there, they have to sign in again.

Sign out all other devices keeps only the one in your hand.

Step 3 — The ten-device rule

Your account can be signed in on 10 devices at a time.

The same device counts once. Every phone, tablet, computer and browser has its own device number that stays on it — in a browser, the website and the admin pages share it, so they are one device. (A browser cannot read a computer's serial number, so Farooq Music makes this number once and the browser keeps it.) When you sign in again on a device you used before — after signing out, or many times in a day — Farooq Music recognises it and replaces only that same sign-in; the device's other sign-ins (the website, the admin pages, the app) stay as they are. It never takes a second place.

A device stays signed in until you sign it out. Nothing signs you out by itself while you use it — not a new sign-in somewhere else, not another tab. If the internet drops for a moment, or the server is busy or restarting for an update, the page keeps your sign-in and tries again by itself — no password needed.

Old devices leave by themselves. A device you have not used for 30 days is signed out on its own and frees its place.

When you sign in on an eleventh device, Farooq Music shows your ten devices. The big button Sign out all of them and sign in here signs every old device out and signs you in at once — the easiest way when you cannot tell which device is which. Or press Sign out next to just one of them. Nobody is ever locked out — an old phone or a deleted app can always be signed out from here.

Tip. Deleting the app, clearing the browser's site data (cookies and storage), or a private window gives that device a new number — the old sign-in stays in the list until you sign it out here or until 30 days pass.
